Getting Ready

Lauren the bride got ready at her parents house just down the street from the country club. When spraying champagne, don’t be afraid to aim straight ahead at the photographer because it makes for an unforgettable photo!

Wedding Ceremony, portraits, and reception at Briar Ridge Country Club – Wedding Photos

The ceremony

The wedding ceremony took place on the lawn just outside the country club. It was a beautiful overcast day that provided nice shade for photos and relief from the summer heat. I was so happy they hired a second photographer because she got an amazing photo of Lauren and her dad walking towards the ceremony, something I could never have gotten alone. I also loved all the excitement on Lauren and Nik’s faces as they walked down the aisle.

Wedding Portraits

For wedding portraits at Briar Ridge Country Club I recommend getting a golf cart and heading down towards the pond and tree-line that is within eyeshot of the country club. The moment I got to the country club I spoke with the onsite manager who gave us four golf carts and pointed me in the right direction for portraits. The country club has lots of tall trees as well as a cute pond near the country club so you don’t have to travel far to find a cute spot or some shade for great portraits.

Reception

The cocktail hour took place on another lawn outside the country club, then we headed inside for the reception. Incredible speeches, good food, and a wild dance floor made for an unforgettable night for Lauren and Nik.
