I met Erin and Dan 3 years ago while photographing Erin’s big brother’s wedding… since then I’ve been fortunate enough to work with over 14 couples directly referred by them (massive thank you to both of you!) So, when Erin and Dan reached out to book me for their wedding I was absolutely thrilled.
Erin’s vision for her wedding photography was lots of in-the-moment candids from the entire wedding day. Photos they could look back on and really relive the day through. That and lots of natural portraits that had an editorial yet effortless look to them.
After delivering their photos I was thrilled to get texts from them saying I’d absolutely nailed their vision and they were so thrilled with the experience from start to finish.

Wedding Ceremony at St. James Catholic Church Arlington Heights
Erin and Dan’s ceremony was at St James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. I started the day at Erin’s folks just a few blocks away for getting ready photos. While styling their details I found some blue china dishes around the house which added a fun personal touch to the wedding and matched the style of the day flawlessly.

I loved how Erin and Dan styled the permanent tent for their recepiton. They used lots of colorful floral themes, as well as mismatched vintage china to give the whole space a thoughtful and unique look. They also custom built a white and mint checkered dance floor.
Wedding Portraits at Dominican University
If you’re looking for gorgeous architecture featuring stone work and ivy greenery for wedding photos in the west or northwest suburbs, go to Dominican University. The lighting and backdrops are gorgeous, and there’s easy parking for a trolley or cars.
